The Translation in the Oldest Tradition is a central work of Pastor Mark’s ministry: an ongoing effort to bring the biblical text into clear, reverent English.
The translation seeks to stay close to the wording of the original languages wherever possible. Its New Testament draws on the Byzantine textual tradition, the Textus Receptus, and the Peshitta. The Psalms and Proverbs draw on the Hebrew Masoretic text.
The work continues as passages are translated and reviewed. The app and website bring that work into daily reading, study, and the life of the Church.
